The practice was able, through a rotation of the silhouette of the future building in relation to the plot and the recession of the ground floor, to imagine a statuary building which is nevertheless permeable: without closed facades and various openings that form as corridors to connect this new construction to the existing ones.

The design of the 24-story Exhibition Building allows it to occupy only 44% of the plot, while the exterior facades pay attention to Tirana's climate with a system solar shading that minimizes heat gain in the generously glazed building in summer.

The design team calculates that these strategies will mean the building uses 30% less energy than other comparable developments
